Here are some samples from my current job working as a key background on the new feature by Director Jean Francois laguionie, Le Tableau At Blue spirit studios in the heart of Paris.
Producer- Eric Jacquot.
Assistant Director Remi Chaye- Story board, animatic, character, design tonal layout.
Julien Bisaro- Story board, animatic, animation design, tonal layout.
Jean Palenstijn- Color script, Bg painter, style guru.
Andrej Radka- Animation.
Assistant in Everyting- Eve "of destruction" Guastella.
Ray Forkan- Key color bg painter.
Antoine Saugier-Key color bg painter.
Blue spirit- 3d design, animation, texturing and lighting
The style as you can see has been developed with Mr Laguoine and the above and is based on
his personal work and inspired by Le Fauves, The Nabi and Cubism, in particular Matisse and Cezanne.
It has been a great challenge everyday to find the style and a very interesting journey in terms of technique, in fact it would be hard to describe how much I've learned about the use of color, color scripting, mood, balance and proportion from Jean "I see colors" especially
and the Animation process in general from these guy's, it has been the best kind of learning curve, difficult and great fun.
I have 3 more months remaining on this project and look forward to working with these guys again in the near future.
